Right Relationship: We Can Work It Out

with Murshids Rahimah Sweeney and Abraham Sussman

Most of us pray for peace and hope to live peaceful lives. Perhaps we even aspire to become skillful peacemakers. It is through experience with each other that we grow our capacity for love and loving. It is within these same relational experiences that we also become aware of our shadow: our reactivities, our fears and aversions, and our emotional and mental habits. There is so much to discover within ourselves.

Right Relationship includes listening, sensitivity, and letting go of our self-centeredness. In truth, we are One. Seeing ourselves in others, we practice Unity. Practicing compassion and mercy, on every breath, in every relational interaction, is our spiritual assignment.
