The Life and Teachings of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan

with Khalif Wali van der Zwan

Three-90 classes course focusing on the life and teachings of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan, Murshid SAM’s ‘teacher of the heart’.

Through sharing spiritual practice, historical, biographical and anecdotal stories, recordings, photographs, and live music, we will attune to the spirit and person of Pir-O-Murshid Inayat Khan. Through this attunement practice of tassawuri, we come closer to understanding ourselves and ultimately the reality of the One and Only Being.

In this course Wali will explore some of the foundational building blocks of Hazrat Inayat Khan’s life experience: his youth in India, his years in London, and his final years in Suresnes, France. These experiences all contributed to the vision and implementation of Hazrat Inayat Khan’s Sufi Message of Spiritual Liberty. This message continues to serve as a living response to the cry of humanity and as an ongoing invitation for awakening to our true nature.

Wali will teach in English with live translation into German.
